"The Un-Be-Known"

I saw you dancing in the shadows of
a purple moon's silver light
twisting, twirling, fearing not of
demon, clamoring, brazen night.
Foot sure, dancing on and on
whilst gargoyles lick upon
lips and lust in delight for one,
whose innocence, lay freely open.

Hair glowing moon's silver light
limbs slender, flay leisurely in
cool summer's night.
Un-be-known,
Satan's beckoning, awaits
you to come unto him.

New Moon

Saw the moon tonight
Glowing orange bright
The Sky

Though it gave a fright
Showing all this light
I cry

It was such a sight
in awe, all this might
No lie

Want to fly a kite
It just wasn't right
wind die.

Shadow Moon

Behind a cloud
The Moons softened glow
Leaves silver linings in the rim
A shadow moon
Showing traces of hope
Stirring my heart deep within

Twas this same moon
That two lovers shared
In a time not so long ago
Where two hearts met
Entwined in her beams
Holding tightly to each others souls

Now come the clouds
To darken loves way
They wont let us look at the sky
I'm left here to yearn
For our yesterdays
And find there is no place to hide

Yet somehow love grows
With each passing day
Even though my heart does now bleed
Despite circumstances
Beyond my control
I'm giving my all to succeed

This love we share
Born in our hearts
Is a story that will have no end
Till I breathe my last
And they lay me to rest
I'm yours, now and forever dear friend

So as we gaze
Into the night sky
At the promise the Shadow moon brings
Let her soft silver linings
Bring hope to our hearts
To our true love alone let us cling

Moonlit Walk

When I walk and think
about the moon
I look into the
darkened sky and see
your face
I smile and desire
etched within your
eyes does beckon me
and somewhere deep
inside I feel you
A playful pinch aimed
at my ribs or is it
just the flutter of
my heart teased by
that very thought
I listen in the darkness
and I sense the softness
of your hands against my
face and smile again
Perhaps you see the
same moon in your sky
from where you are
and if you do
Does it also make
you feel me and
know my thoughts
are with you now

"Moonlight Dreaming"

under
the wings
of a cobalt
blue sky
awakened
still eyes
meet with
the presence
of a full moon
beaming forth
silent images
of you
your sleeping
hand reaches
out across
mine
causing souls
to entwine
while moonlight
dreaming

In The Shadow of the Moon

Autumn's soft breezes whirl round the moon
Our hearts rising croon to the light of the moon

Signs of fall drift round toes as we scuff
Down the beach rough in the shadow of moon

Bright colored leaves, oranges yellows and reds
On the sand they are bled by the silvery moon

Warm for a fall night clothing wouldn't be missed
An extra warm kiss we sway 'neath the moon

Surf lapping lightly, we hardly see foam
The pipers do roam to hide from the moon

Your soft hand in mine, your eyes lit by the stars
With all that is ours we swoon under the moon

In a pile of soft leaves we lay in delight
Kisses in spotlight we're the stars of this moon

A sterling performance not a nuance rehearsed
In each other immersed, it's a true lover's moon

With pledges of love, caresses of signing
Our love is undying, witness the moon

~Lips of Moon Shadows~

Sultry lips of moon shadows
softly kiss dark cerulean skies
arms of darkness bound within
the chains of stars
her lashes gently brush
his velvet skin
as she descends
in the midnight hour
passion rises with the tides
the gasping voice of thunder
cries out in the night
as lavender rain
cascades the body of moonlight
within the moon shadows
is the pain of love
and heartbeat of the wind
succulent lips explore
the milky galaxy of darkness
removing his blindfold only
to the fire of dawn

Lady Moon

Lady moon
looking down,
touching earth hands
with her eyes,
she whispers
of love words,
and waltzes the clouds
in dance of veils,
she tempts the tides
moves them up and down,
over ocean floors,
a lady dancer
with reflection steps,
sun light memories
on her pale skin,
night is her indigo hair,
she tempts the dark gods
with touches from charms
hidden shimmers
under a star light gown.

Moon Sonnet

When the moon comes up,
Lighting the ending skies,
I gather moonbeams in a cup,
Harvest starlight from your eyes,
Collecting the laughter in memory,
Watching moths skyward flies
Toward the moons bright beauty.

The day has left us just black and white,
Simplifies to just form and action,
Two people in the corner of a vast night,
Exploring the soul and the passion,
Learning by touch, taste, and sight,
Blending in softness and in motion.

Under moonlight as passions dancing,
Pausing for a touch of romancing.

After the prophet - Moonlight

And his beloved asked him
“What about moonlight”

And he smiled and looked at her and said

Moonlight is for lovers such as you and I.
It is the suns gift to all who are in love
With evening, at the end of each day
The sun leaves a gift of himself
So that lovers can meet for the first time
Or reaffirm their moon made vows

Darkness is not for lovers, nor should it be
What is a flickering candle but a little moon
And a blazing fire a symbol of the sun.
Who has not made love by candles light
Or in love lain side by side by the fire
And swore their love by flickering flame.

The moon has created hope and love
For while it is only a reflection of the sun
Do not lovers lie beneath its light
Making their plans and creating dreams
So I say without the moon there is no love
There is no hope or dreams of the future.
