For my wee bit of the Gaelic lessons, I thought I would do a series of conversations that we lassies
would love to have with one James Alexander Malcom MacKenzie Fraser (Lads, you can imagine Claire here instead). So, go with the fantasy (I KNOW you are all oh-so good at this!) and imagine you’re a single lass meeting Jamie, and the two of you are goin’ a-courtin’!

You:
I am pleased to see you.
Tha mi thoilicht` d’fhaicinn
ha mee tolleech-tch dech-keen

Jamie:
Would you like to dance?
A bheil thu ‘g iarraidh a dhanns?
uh vil oo g-ee-urry uh gha-ooss?

You:
Yes, of course!
Faodaidh gu dearbh
feut-ee goo jarrav

*sigh* Imagine dancing with Jamie here ! *sigh*

Afterwards........

Jamie:
Did you enjoy the evening?
An do chord an oidhche riut
un daw chawrd un uh-eech-yuh root?

You:
I enjoyed it very much!
Chord e ruim glan
chawrd eh room glan

Jamie:
So did I.
Chord is ruim-sa
chawrd iss room-suh

*sigh again*
