What an update! To start, the SPAwards voting booths are opened, so go read the nominees and make your choice! Also, SPA has joined several affiliates; special thanX for their support. Please visit our homepage and see who we've befriended!

Just some basic updates: I redid the main page, changed the HTML tag format (no worries for those of you who are already members...I PROMISE) The Poetry Reviews section is open, and I just have to say a quick thanX to Amethyst for entrusting us with her beautiful poem, Feeding the Fish. Congrats on being the first! Be sure to read her poem and the great review by Tara W, then consider sending in one of your poems. We're also getting prepped for the Annual SPAwards. Nominations start next month! Till then.....

Once again, fate has come between me and SPA. Was this webring not meant to be??? After finally overcoming difficulties with webring management and their new requirements, and a merger with Yahoo, my computer crashed leaving me offline for about a month. I'm finally online now, trying to make up for lost time. Because of these difficulties, the SPAwards dates have been set back. For more info, incl. new time schedule, see the SPAwards page. The poetry review section is coming soon, as well as our poem of the month. Cross your fingers that all STAYS well!

Doing the 'July' update in August wasn't my intention at all, but it was unavoidable thanX to computer problems. I'm finally back online now, and have posted the poem of the month for August and some new banners. Within the next few weeks, look out for our poetry review section, opening soon.

SPA is re-opening (sort-of) with some new features for members, new HTML choices, and some new pages in the ring. We're very happy to welcome Slide Effects and Lisa's Shipper Zone to SPA. Once your page has been updated with the new HTML requirements, please notify me and you too will be added to the ring again.
All members of SPA should have recently recieved an e-mail about the new features, and who is eligible. If you would like to be removed or added to the SPA mailing list, please notify me at the below email addy.
