Special Memory



Flashbulb memory is common in everyone. When we experience something very significant, a birth, a death, a wedding, ect. that memory is usually captured with great detail. But also, even the smallest details are retained along with it. The theory behind this is, that your mind takes a photo of the event and places it in like an album. It is stored in there, and instead of slowly disappearing, it grows stronger.

Some people have the ability to remember information precisely. They are called mnemonists. They can remember tons of words with only looking at them once. This ability was found more often in children. Even with this special ability, when tested on memory, they didn't do any better than the average Joe.

A vivid memory of a certain event and the incidents surrounding even after a long time has passed.
