Wall Street at The Reading Room (ready for browsing), and The Bookshop at Amazom.com (under construction) were added to the Reading Room.  Within Wall Street at The Reading Room you will find the lastest business and small business news as well as a Portfolio builder and Stock Quotes, both from ETrade.com.  Watch for more news about The Bookshop at Amazom.com.

The Reading Room is complete, as are the rest of the "Inn", well almost.  The Editor's Page, Poets' Enclave and Bard's Corner are still under construction, but all can be visited.  The Poets' Enclave does contain a body of my work now and will contain the work of other poets in the very near term.  Also I will post the site today and announce to the world that the Bard's Inn is now ready to recieve guests!

The Site undergoes another major makeover before it goes to press, so-to-speak.  I added the theme you see now in the hopes that it better conveys feeling I wish to engender on the Site.  Do you like?  Please let me know.

What’s new you ask? First off welcome, and thanks for taking the time to stop by. And second I happy to report that that the new and improved Bard’s Inn is almost ready to open its doors. The "Inn" is still under heavy construction as you can see, but we are coming along nicely and anticipate the grand opening by the end of June. I have totally renovated the site to make it easier (I hope), to navigate and read. It is my intent to keep the Inn as fresh and new as the day it opens, so wish me luck!

The purpose of this site is to showcase talent; those of others and myself, by publishing short stories, long stories, poem, sonnets, etc. So if you are an inspiring write/poet, I would love to hear from you. Please drop me a line at vemartin@geocities.com. I would be more than happy to showcase your work on a dedicated page, which I will create for you. I will post the first of my poems in the Poets' Enclave. 

Once the site is up and running I hope to open a discussion room called the Editor's Page, where the latest and greatest contemporary events can be debated. Editorials, Essays and opinions from all will be welcome. Also I hope to be able to post spoken poems and sonnets in a room call Center Stage.  Please come back time and again, and tell all your friends, family and relations about us.
