Ajax this week:
Even the true fans are puzzled by the way Ajax shows itself to the audience this season While Feyenoord plays in Champions League and PSV has v.Nistelrooy to decorate the games a little, Ajax has NOTHING. Sunday the club exists exactly 100 years. And what better way to celebrate that than with a defeat at Fortuna S? Like a squad of amateurs Ajax entered the field in Sittard. And a little naive they stomed towards the goal for a couple of minutes. But when that stayed without results, Ajax thought it could just lean back and wait for an own goal or something cause Ajax refused to play ball. And Fortuna were surprised of course but did not hesitate to kill this shotdown prey. The defense with blundering Verlaat,de Cler and Grim could barely be seen through the tears of the fans cause it was so embarassing, the way Amoah got the ball 2 times to score. Especially Verlaat who did not even put a little energy into defending, was amazingly bad. 23rd minute and 42nd minute were goals against Ajax, both times Amoah as stated above. And so Ajax says explicetly: Here PSV you can have the title, we will just play for Intertotocompetition this year.Ajax is at a bottompoint at the moment, and in times like this it is hard to see the sunny side of being a fan. I would rather see them play well and be 10th than this circus...It is an outrage... The conclusion: Wouters and some of the players:Get out! Ajax next week:Sunday, when the centennial birthday of Ajax takes place FC Twente will be visiting Amsterdam. I dont give a nickle for the chances of Ajax. Ajax has a lot of work to do when they wanna win my confidence back...80% chances of losing. Note for Ajax this week: 1
Competition this week: A strange competitionround this weekend. On the traditional sundayafternoon there was only one match, PSV took on FC Utrecht at home. Without v.Nistelrooy and Nilis as the strikers, Bruggink and Bouma were substitutes but the confidence was less. The result 2-1 was flattering for two teams who played an equal match. But due to bad refereeing(see moment of the week) PSV took the victory thanks to Bouma, in the 82nd minute. Feyenoord saw another team who could not control their nerves. A weak playing den Bosch did not seem to remember that they need the points to avoid relegation, so they lost 3-0. Furthermore AZ showed that they are really in the race for European football by declassing RKC With big numbers 4-0, they are gaining points to shoot to the top. FC Twente and Heerenveen also followed the AZ example. Heerenveen took care of Willem II in Tilburg with a 2-3 thanks to Lurling, a talented 'v.Nistelrooy-like' player. FC Twente only needed to score once in a weak game against Cambuur L, a 1-0 result was enough for 3 points. Note for competition this week: 6
Moment of the week: We almost forgot about mr.Luinge, the man who found himself in this "moment of the week"column quite a lot in the beginning of this season. But he let's us know he is back. In the game of PSV-FC Utrecht he decided the game again. This blundering idiot that calls himself referee should be taken off the fields. He gave Shew Atjon of Utrecht a total undeserved red card and with 10 against 11 Utrecht could no longer hold the balance that characterised the match, in the last 10 minutes. So thanks to Luinge PSV has yet another push in the back towards the championship. If PSV plays it nicely they can ask the Dutch KNVB to have Luinge as their permanent referee, cause that way they can be champion in october next year. It is a absolute disgrace this man. Ajax reaches rock bottom, and still does not fire any staff or players. And with that they are the only club in the world who have no ambitions so it seems
