GRANNY-DOLL

I love my darling GRANNY-DOLL.
Her bloomers are so bright.
She likes them green, red and blue,
Or anything but white.

She flitters all around the house,
Her voice a happy song,
Her bloomers down around her legs,
She likes them kinda long.

On washing day her lines alight,
With bloomers in the breeze.
She hangs them out at anytime,
Except a hard cold freeze.

Her birth was many years ago,
She's pushing eighty four.
But you'd think she was a lass again,
With bloomers on the floor.

Yes, I love my darling GRANNY-DOLL.
She really is a sight,
With bloomers of all colors.
Keep her? I just might!
