I know it was "fashionable" to paint wildlife for many years....
However, I paint wildlife because that is what I am interested in,
and it has more to do with the celebration of beauty and freedom from the dominion of humankind.

The second side of the coin, the Pet portraits,
acknowleges the deep personal attachment a person has for their animal friend.

The "third side" of the coin (spin it and you will see) is a brand-new experience for me.
Michael Carrico has shown me about 'finding' in art and so I have tried it as a newcommer.
I expect the finding pieces will get better as I mature with the technique.....
It is new to me, and since I never paint or draw humans, it is rather primitive stuff... but interesting.
I will get it online here as soon as I can, it may be a while though.
