This Wonderful Piece of Electronic Wizardry

Well, this is odd. Since this is a rather ugly (however appropriate) background, and since I can't stand these colors, I'll make this brief. I've been using computers since I was six. I started on a TRS-80, and worked my way up through 286s and 386s to the 486 I now call my own. It may be a 486, but it hums along at a clock-tripled 120 MHZ (megahertz to the uninitiated.) Anyway, I use this thing for everything from word processing to data retention to games. The only thing I really want to talk about, however, is the Joke Distribution Network. I started the JDN in April of 1997 as a means of spreading around the huge collection of clean humor I've been building. It has grown by leaps and bounds, and currently has about 170 "subscribers." I charge nothing for the service I provide, which is to send out one joke each night to each person subscribed on the list. In the interest of time (and the avoidance of this eye-sore background) I am just making this web page an added vehicle to the expansion of the JDN. If you would like to join (and never fear, this ain't spam; you can "unsubscribe" whenever you feel like it), just send an e-mail to joke.network@juno.com. Sorry about the size, I had to make it visible. So that's that...have a nice day!
