With photo restoration and color enhancement your photographs will often be brighter and  sharper than the original image.  Red eye and surface scratches can be completely removed.

                     

We can also restore old photographs that you thought were ruined from stains and surface damage due to mold or mishandling.

         

        
 

 

Faded images can be brought back to life by making fine adjustments to details in the image that had almost disappeared.  Cropping can also enhance the subject and make them more dominant in the photo.

Restoration Estimate:   We provide you with a restoration estimate on all your photographs before we start working on the file.  To give you an estimate we will need to see the original photographs or a scan of the photographs you plan to have restored.   It is not necessary to send high resolution scans for this purpose as it wont be used for actual restoration purposes.  Please do not send files larger than 1 MB in size.

 

Light Restoration Includes

  • Repair blemished in non-detail areas

  • Simple edge repair

  • Simple crack repair

 

Heavy Restoration Includes

  • All items included in the Light and Medium Restoration package

  • Removal of scratches

  • Major edge repair

  • Major staining or crack repair  

  • Repair of small blemishes in facial areas

  • Repair of missing areas and spots in non-facial locations

  • Repair of imagery and background

 

Severe Restoration Includes

  • All items included in the Light, Medium and Heavy Restoration package

  • Considerable damage in facial areas

  • Anatomy replacement

  • Extensive cracking and tearing

  • Reconstructive work

  • Repair of torn images

 

Scanning Services 

 

Scanning services are available for prints and 35mm negatives and slides. Digital files are stored on CD and mailed to client. There are two different scan sizes available: High-Resolution and Medium-Resolution. High resolution scans are recommended for 8x10 size prints, and Medium resolution is recommended for 4x6 and 5x7 prints.

Scanning costs are $3 CND per image for High-Res, or $1.50 CND per image for Medium-Res scans. An additional fee of $5 per CD is charged. One job may not exceed 100 individual photos. Shipping charges are not included in the price.
