Soft and delicate,
 you lay there, looking as if you didn't have
   a care in the world.
 As if you could go on laying there
   forever
 and it wouldn't matter a bit.
 And whenever I need you,
   you're always laying right there.
 Right where I need you at the time.
 You listen carefully,
   never telling me I'm crazy
            or lying
            or over reacting
            or being silly
            or boring
 you just lay there and listen.
 And when it's all over.
 We hug.
 The best hugs anyone could ever expect.
 And you know,
   that a hug says more
 than any word ever could.
 Then,
 you go right on laying there,
  as if to say
 you'll always be here if I ever need you
 and I know you will be.
 I've never had a friend who treated me
 so well.
 Yet look at you!
 All tattered and frayed.
 Maybe those are just signs of a long,
 well lived life.
 How do you put up with me,
 when so many others can't?

When I was lost and alone...
convinced that was my fate...
I resolved myself to accept it...fighting no more
Then out of the darkness...a light began to shine...
And I heard a voice so sweet and pure, it could only be an angel..
The voice and the light belonged to you...
Thank you for showing me the love I longed for...I LOVE YOU..

miles away
tired legs lie curled
fast asleep under blankets
still strong with the
sweet scent of my love
pictures fade
into the mind of my love
warm memories of holding you
rocking my sweetness to sleep at night
and my hand can still be felt
pressing her close

When
I met you,
I wasn't planning
on falling
in love.

I wasn't planning
on feeling so
attracted to
someone,
but you awakened
feelings inside of me 
that I'd forgotten existed.

When I met you,
I didn't realize
how much our love would grow--
that the attraction that first brought us together
would reach beyond passion
to the comfort of knowing

I have someone very special,
someone who is not only my lover,
but my close friend.
when I met you,
I had no idea where our relationship
would lead us,
how beautiful you would make my world.
But now I know without a doubt...
the luckiest day of my life
was the day that I met you

All I want is to love you for the rest of my life...
to wake up every morning 
with you by my side,
knowing that no matter what happens,
I'll be able to come home to your loving arms.


All I want is to share everything with you ...
to talk to you about our ideas,
our dreams,the little everyday things
that make us laugh, and the not-so-little things
that we can't help worring about.



All I want is to give you my love.......
as a place you can always come to acceptance,
or the simple comfort that silence brings
when things left unspoken
can still be understood.


All I want is to grow old with you........
to watch our life unfold, our dreams,
one by one come true.


All I want is to love you forever

When I tell you "I love you"
I want it to mean more than when anyone else
in the whole world says it...
I want it to mean your happiness
is everything to me,
and I want only the best 
for you always.
I want it to mean that you're
more important to me than anything else 
in my life.


When I tell you "I love you",
I want it to mean
that you're a part of me
and I"m a part of you,
in this world,
we'll be together forever,
sharing our lives and our happiness.

The Eyes of a Child

When you start to feel the world pressing in on you,
Look into a child's eyes. 
See the wonder of stars that somehow stay in the sky, the moon that
sometimes looks so big you could touch it, and clouds that look like
animals.
When tunnel vision makes you think of the world only in terms of bills,
deadlines, and responsibility,
Look into a child's eyes.
Remember the sensation of turning your face to the rain and catching the
raindrops on your tongue or jumping into a puddle for the pure enjoyment
of watching it splash.
Remember the joy of raking a pile of leaves just to jump in the middle
and lose yourself in the earthy smell.
Remember the sensation of freshly cut grass on your bare feet.
When work makes you feel weighed down,
Look into the eyes of a child.
Remember the excitement of the first day of school; the smell of new
pencils, the fun of picking out a new notebook, meeting the new kids and
seeing old friends.
Remember birthdays and the importance of being a year older. You were
never 9 or 10 but were always nine and a half or ten and three quarters.
Remember the exhilaration you felt when you finally mastered riding a
bike or jumping from a diving board for the first time.
Look into the eyes of a child and maybe you'll find the child in you
that never really left but was pushed aside and replaced with
responsibility and the sometimes impossible demands of everyday life.
To a child, nothing is impossible, everything is exciting, and
everything isn't black and white but an explosion of color.
Maybe if we could all remember how it felt to be a child we would be
able to slow down, actually see what's around us  and enjoy life a
little more.
