My Family

This is my daughter Kirby who is 24 and is now a mother of 4 children, picture is when she was pregnant with her little girl Taylah.
Kirby lives in Tasmania with her partner Tony.
she likes to be independent, and stubborn.
Kirby likes to write poetry,
and loves animals (they follow her home!)

This is her 3 sons Danny, Blake and Levi and her daughter Taylah

This is my youngest daughter Ashlee who is 20 years old with my friends daughter Lily from Church.
Ashlee was an avid swimmer and placed 4th
in her age for 50m freestyle at the NSW State
Championships at Homebush.
Ashlee was born with a heart defect and has a genetic condition called Velo-Cardio-Facial Syndrome.
(If anyone else has a child with this syndrome please email me.)

My husband Greg (right) with one of our much loved church members Bart.

Greg is a passionate, caring and gentle man. He enjoys
working with wood, and generally tinkering in the shed.
Greg loves his family, God, and life in general.
He is my best friend!

A photo of Greg and I on our wedding day 29th September 2001.
We had a beautiful garden wedding.
With two flower girls dressed as fairies blowing bubbles and my daughter as bridesmaid.

Here is a little something I shared with Greg once upon a time, it means a lot to us, I hope others can also find something in these words.

Risks

To laugh is to risk appearing a fool
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental
To reach out for another is to risk involvement
To expose feelings is to risk exposing your true self
To love is to risk not being loved in return
To live is to risk dying
To hope is risk despair
To try is to risk failure
But risk we must...
Because the greatest risk in life
is to risk nothing.
One who risks nothing
does nothing
has nothing
is nothing.
He may avoid suffering, but he simply cannot
learn, feel, change, grow, love or live.
