Directions to the Number  40th Street/Lowery Street subway station (Queens)

The Train runs to Grand Central and Times Square, where you can transfer to other lines.  It is one of the easiest ways to go into NYC and park all day.

Take the LONG ISLAND EXPRESSWAY WEST (I 495 W) to exit 16 (Van Dam Street).  As soon as you exit, TURN RIGHT on GREENPOINT AVENUE.  Travel 2 blocks and TURN LEFT on 39TH STREET.  Travel 3 blocks and TURN RIGHT on QUEENS BLVD (RT 25).  Travel 1 block and turn left into the elevated 40TH ST./LOWERYST. STATION parking.  Pay $4.00 and park all day until 10pm, they take $0.25 & $1 coins, bills, and credit cards.

To return to Eastern Long Island:
TURN LEFT out of the parking lot onto WESTBOUND QUEENS BLVD (towards NYC).  TURN LEFT on to 39TH STREET.  Continue along 39TH Street until you TURN RIGHT on 51ST STREET.  TURN LEFT on GREENPOINT AVENUE and CROSS LIE, immediately TURN RIGHT onto LIE entrance ramp for I 495 EAST.
