I consider myself fortunate, that in the process of doing my actual job, I have developed a very keen interest in Computers and the Internet... and exploring this interesting field, has become a hobby... it helped that my work gave me the challenge and opportunity to learn and apply this IT knowledge in practice....

BRIEF INFO ABOUT MYSELF:

My father is from Ilocos Sur-the northern part of the Philippines and my mother is from Surigao Del Sur-the southern part. Besides English and Tagalog, I can also speak the following filipino dialects - IIocano and Cebuano. I was born in Tacurong, Cotabato (now Sultan Kudarat) in Mindanao, South of the Philippines. When I was young, our family moved on from place to place, due to my father's work. I have resided in different places in the Philippines: from Digos (Davao Del Sur), to Davao City, to Tagum (Davao Del Norte), to Bislig (Surigao Del Sur), to Cebu (briefly), to Candon (Ilocos Sur) and then to Manila (from 1975).

My hobbies are reading (books, newspapers, magazines, etc), watching movies, playing the guitar (and sing of course...this is what frustrated singers do), occasionally go to karaoke with friends, or to the lounge to listen to some good music......I also like to cook (filipino and chinese dishes).........However, most of the time I'm sleeping when I'm free....

Sports?? Well..I like to play Chess, Tennis, Bowling, Billiards, Swimming, I took formal Golf lessons and used to play Golf few years back (now am too busy..).... All these activities seem to make me appear the athletic type, but I'm really not, coz' it's either, I don't have much time or I just prefer to stay at home and read or otherwise tinker with the computer or just sleep the whole day....

PLACES I'VE BEEN TO:

Thru my work, I had the opportunity to visit the following places:
U.S.A. (Chicago, Los Angeles, Hollywood, Disneyland, Las Vegas, etc.), The Netherlands (Amsterdam, The Hague), Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, etc.) , New Zealand (Christchurch, etc.), Japan (Tokyo, Kobe, Chiba, Osaka and other parts of Japan), Thailand (Bangkok), Indonesia (Jakarta, Surabaya, Batam, many others), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, many others), Hongkong, Vietnam and of course, Singapore (where I'm now based).
