Surprisingly enough, there is a wealth of information on women in science and mathematics on the internet. Some of them can get repetitive, however, so I picked out a few of the best links especially for this site. But if you want to learn more, I suggest you do a net search of your own. There are plenty of great resources out there. Just take a moment to look ! :)
Just for Fun...
- Math in the Movies A very amusing site that list popular movies containing scenes dealing with math and computers. It rates these movies on the accuracy of the portrayal. A must-see for math and movie enthusiasts.
- Ask Dr. Math: A good site for those interested in math... also has a few good links and some interesting brainteasers. Just a bit of amusement for ya!
- Fun with Statistics: This site was reccommended by my biostatistics professor- and I have to admit, it is rather amusing and very interactive. The Javascript applets allow you to simulate random statistical tests like rolling dice.
