USAF JROTC Mission

The AFJROTC Mission is to acquaint secondary school students with the aerospace age, develop informed citizens, strenghten character, promote an understanding of the citizen soldier in a democratic society, and motivate students for careers in the US Air Force.

Encouragement of a high degree of personal honor, responsibility, self-reliance, and leadership.

Promotion of the habits of orderliness and precision.

Development of respect for and an understanding of the need for constituted authority in a democtatic society.

Development of ability to perform basic military skills.

Strengthen character.

Motivate students for careers in the US Air Force.

Instill in each cadet a sense of patriotism and an understanding of their obligation to contribute toward national security.

Provide a knowledge of and help develop an appreciation for the traditions of the Air Force.
