1901-1989. A god to his nation, the Emperor didn't want the Japanese expansion but neither was he against. It is at the moment of the Japan's capitulation that his power is useful: he convinces the council that Japan has to capitulate and then he makes the capitulation's speech on the radio on August 15^th and all accept the defeat except a few soldiers who couldn't take being conquered by another nation and who prefered death.
