-Mao Zedong.

1893-1976. He is a member of the chinese communist party at its foundation in 1921. In 1927 he becomes one of its chief. When Jiang Jieshi battles them, Mao brings his men in the North of the country, to Shaanxi, with a 15 000km walk. When the Japaneses enter in China the communists infiltrate the controled regions and start a guerilla against the Japaneses and the chinese nationalists. After 1945 and the japanese defeat, there is a civil war and in 1949 Mao has driven out his opponents. Then Mao will lead China for the next 27 years, until his death.
