The Scuola Modellismo
Cirič this year has decided to organize together with the Italian
Championship an appointment for the F 2 B World Cup to start a new
International experience in the F 2 B competition.
Due to some unlucky
coincidence (e.g. Switzerland National Competition overlapping, French
Air Shows, etc.) the International participation was poor and limited to
only an Austrian competitor " Walter WEINSEISEN" , anyway we
hope that he and more foreign Stunt fliers on the wave of this edition
will attend the next year issue.
The Organization
Committee in order to satisfy both Italian / International
judge panel requirements, substituted the typical National judge panel
(5 judge), by a formation of 4 Italian and one International, this year
was Mrs. Bernadette GILBERT which is also member of the judge panel at
the August World Championship in Kiev.
Nevertheless the
experience was good for the organization point of view and specially
for the Italian competitors which as my personal judgment needs much
more International exchange experience.
Competitors arrived
at the field from Friday 24th , and Saturday 25th , morning in order to
verify the flight site, climatic condition typically affected by some turbulence
which did not allow the participants to demonstrate all their power.
On Saturday 25th,
afternoon competitions start on time (15:00) as per planning, after completion
of registration procedure, Warm-up Flights took place according to the
FAI rules, also the Line Pull Test and the Noise measurement were performed,
and nobody was found to be beyond the limits. Hostility was declared completed
on Sunday 26th around 16:00.
In detail Alberto
MAGGI with his new "SUNKI" powered by a OS 70 (4 stroke) dominate the competition
increasing his performance flight after flight.
Mauro FIUSSELLO
using his old RI-BLITZ powered by ST 51, already saw during the last E.C.
in Valladolid, after a not impressive first flight, rise the classification
up to the second place surprising everybody for that unexpected performance.
Luciano COMPOSTELLA
unfortunately fall gently down to the third place, (unusual position for
him), flying with a new plane called "FRECCIA" powered by the Ukraine
engine Discovery.
Proceeding down
in the classification we found Clemente CAPPI that absolutely not disturbed
by the Cirič's turbulence performs a good flight closing competition
a the fourth place, just before Francesco BALLESIO (friendly called the
house-owner) that appears a little bit behind his standard performance.
Continuing we found
Isidoro LAKUNISHOCK that with his new YAK superb finished took the sixth
place followed by Giacomo FELICI seventh classified.
At the eighth place
we find Walter WEINSEISEN that followed by some problem could not display
his full potential, we hope he enjoyed anyway the competition.
Last but not least
there are Silvia FIUSSELLO, Lillo CONDELLO and Franco REINERO tree younger
Italian stunt flyers that will not hesitate to attack the top level classification
competitiors in the future competition (this is a pure dream!!!)
In the frame of
the main competition there was also an Open Category Competition dedicated
to the memory of Carlo SALVI (who was the founder of the S.M.C:) classification
is addressed to the Control Line Pilots that do not own the FAI Licence,
unfortunately only two entrants attended this category.
The winner was Olimpio
TORCHIO followed by Luca AMATEIS.

helped the organization committee to perform a good work in terms
of logistic preparation, technical matters management, Welcome, Lunch and
