SOON AFTER BOOT CAMP, WE WERE SHIPPED TO VIET NAM!

The Viet Nam war was never understood by most people here in the USA.It was a war that left many men physically and mentally scarred. Most of us were never able to talk about our experiences in that war when we returned home.
Many of us were able to take photos while there so that we would never forget that experience and the people we served closely with.
Each time I look through my albums of the photos taken there, I always wonder what happened to everybody that I served with. December 1968 I was lucky enough to leave Viet Nam. I had a quick R&R in the Philippines. Then I was shipped to Cuba for a short tour and then I came home.
I would like to know if everybody that was in my unit made it home okay and was able to put the experience of Vietnam past them and go on to lead comfortable and productive lives. I had kept in touch with some of the guys but later lost contact with some of them.
I'm hoping that by putting these photos here, someone surfing in would recognize some faces and let them know about my home page. It would really be nice to hear from these guys after all these years.
