While being stationed at Camp Schwab, Japan we took a trip to Camp Fuji, (mainland) Japan. We were there for seven weeks. we did a lot of bull shit training and we also did some pretty good training.
I got the chance to climb Mt. Fuji. I was the thrid one to the top out of my company. Let me tell you it was no easy climb. Frankly it was a bitch. but hey i made it up and down in one peice and i got lots of picture to show off. But i cannot put all of them on here, so here is a few i hope you enjoy

This is Mt. Fuji. It doesn't look that big from here. But believe me it is pretty big. This was taken from one of the training areas that we went to the  two or three times that we were up in mainland Japan.

This is were the climb started at. The bottom, long way up. It is longer then what you think it is. It took me two hours and thrity minutes to get to the top. I was non-stop for the most part. I would stop for a few seconds at the  most, then I would keep on climbing.
You can't see the top from this point, for one it was covered with a blanket of clouds and we had to walk around the Mt. Fuji just a little bit before we could go up. it was very steep in some parts of the climb. At two points we had to climb up and over boulders, other then that it was a very steep hike upwards.
But I had fun going up although i about froze my ass off. It was very cold and windy. (We went up in September of '99)
