Texas Law Regarding the Texas State Guard and militias.

VIETNAMESE FISHERMEN'S ASSOCIATION v. The KNIGHTS OF THE KU KLUX KLAN, 543 F.Supp. 198 (1982)This was a case brought in the Federal Court for the Southern District of Texas. This case affirmed the constitutionality of the Texas anti-paramilitary law and set the legal precedent for dealing with these groups. This court stated (almost prophetically): "Regardless of whether it is called "defense training" or "survival courses," it is clear to this Court that the proliferation of military/paramilitary organizations can only serve to sow the seeds of future domestic violence and tragedy."
