Commitment: 413 RCU is a pipe and drum band. After a few months if a cadet has been practicing he/she may have attained enough skill that they can join the band. Band performances vary throughout the year from special events like Anzac Day, Christmas Pageants, Royal Show Massed Bands and many parades as support for other Cadet Units. 413 RCU also takes part in the Annual Field Exercise and an annual music skills camp. Both occur over one week during the school holidays. Interstate music camps also occurred in some school holidays such as a trip to the headquarters of the Australian Army Pipes and Drums Wing in Singleton N.S.W.
