The photo below printed on the 1997 1^st Cavalry Division Calendar was taken during the mission referred to in this story. Doug Sterner is in the foreground and the RTO in the background is Sp/4 Jaime Pacheco. It was this calendar that led to the introduction of Michael and Doug.
