These colors don't run, the red stands for the blood shed to keep the country free, the white stands for purity, doing what's right even when its not popular, the blue stands for courage, to never give up regardless of what the odds are. This is who we are and what we have to be




I was an E1 on the USS Topeka (gmlc). We were in Operation Double Eagle off the coast of Vietnam. My most vivid memory is watching the aircraft from the fantail of the ship, they would appear out of the sky, dip down below tree level and then appear again leaving behind a firestorm.
