I am very proud that both of my parents served in the military and represented the United States honorably.  My father served two terms in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star.  He passed away at the young age of 50 due to complications from Agent Orange.  My mother was an independent, free spirit, being one of the first women to enlist in the Waves from the Merrimack Valley.  All veterans are very special and we have our freedom as a result of their sacrifices for our country.  I want to thank Paul and Jimmy at the Veterans Educational Center for honoring my parents.  Loving daughter, Susan Magiera.
