My Two Hometowns

I feel like I have three hometowns. One in Massachusetts where I was brought up. One in Rhode Island, where we live and own Caboose Kettle Korn. Our other home is in sunny FL where we go for the winter.

BRIMFIELD, MA
Brimfield is a sleepy little town (pop. about 3000) in the middle of Massachusetts, until it is time for the Brimfield Antique Show that happens three times a year. If you like antiques, I am sure you have heard of Brimfield and the largest antique flea market in the USA.

First Congregational Church
The church was built in 1721 and is the centerpiece of Brimfield. It sits atop at hill at the west end of the common.

The Brimfield Hotel

This picture is from an old postcard I found at a flea market. The hotel once stood in the center of town near the war memorial. It was destroyed by fire many years ago.

WESTERLY, RI
Westerly is a busy coastal town of just over 20,000 in population. People come from all over New England to enjoy the sunshine and beach at Misquamicut.
