The Online Study Guide

Guide Created By: Ft. Sill NCO Academy 13P30 Class 1-96. Site created and maintained by SSG Lenning

This study guide is intended to help soldiers of the US Army prepare for the Promotion, Soldier/NCO of the month and Audie Murphy Board. A good study guide can be the difference between wining and loosing. We have attempted to create a well rounded study guide that will be of great value to you, the soldier, in achieving victory during your board appearance. No study guide can claim to be the sole reference for a board. It is important that you study each area and become familiar with the subject to a point that you can answer most questions, even those not found in this guide. During your appearance before the board, you will be evaluated on areas other than knowledge. These areas include the following:

1. Correct wearing and appearance of your uniform and grooming

2. Attitude, bearing and self confidence

3. Conversation skills, speaking voice

4. Reporting Procedures

5. Accomplishments, awards, and education

I strongly recommend that a commemorative stamp be issued in honor of Audie L. Murphy, the most decorated American military service member who ever fought during World War II or any war. "PLEASE" click the link above to honor the memory.
