About Ring Lore Kennel
Frodo and Pippin
We started Ring Lore Kennel in 1994 with pugs, but quickly fell in love with malamutes from going to dog shows.  Don't get me wrong, I still love pugs and will probably get more, but the mals take center stage in our lives right now.  I don't have to much trouble with the two breeds getting along, thank goodness!!  Especially Frodo, who spent more time with Noble when he was growing up than anyone else.  At the shows, he scares the daylights out of the pug people, when he starts pulling me toward all the pugs, woo woo woooing at them. I'm sure they think he wants to eat there precious little pugs, but I know he's only looking for Noble.

Ring Lore Kennel is made up of myself (Susan), my husband (Mike), my daughter (Kira), my son (Gino) and of course the DOGS.  All of our dogs live in the house with us.  That's the way we like it.  I would hate to live in a cage or at the end of a rope and I'm pretty sure dogs feel the same way.  So!  In our house they live and are a very loved by all of us.  I couldn't imagine it any other way!!  Although, we do live on a big Pennsylvania farm and they get plenty of time outside to run and play each day.  Which they thoroughly love, especially in the winter.

All in all, we have a small kennel, but we are dedicated to raising and breeding quality malamutes with good temperaments.  We have a lot of goals set and hope to obtain them through the years.  All of our dogs will have the proper health clearances, for the breed, and all pups sold will have health guarantee's against heritable diseases. Because we feel this isn't the breed for just anyone, we will carefully be screening prospective buyers.  We hope that all of our pups will have loving homes and we will do what we can to insure that.  Ring Lore pups will always be excepted back with open arms.  We would never want to see any of our pups in a shelter.  We plan to keep the lines of communication open to all of our buyers, or anyone for that matter, that may have questions or problems with the breed.

Our dogs are a very important part of our family.  We all love them very much and enjoy spending our lives with them.
