I fell in love with the breed and acquired Ch. Countrylane Fire When Reddy (Dempsey) from my good friend Kay Cox, Countrylane Kennels. Dempsey was a good producer and wonderful ambassador for the breed. Dempsey was successfully campaigned and became a top 10 rated Pembroke.
To date I have bred and owned multiple Group Placing Champions, Obedience and Agility titled corgis, as well as many Wonderful Companions.
My first Cardigans, Ch. Blackduck Bos N' Mate (Boats) and his sister Ch. Blackduck Amy of Black-Fox (Heidi) were acquired from my close friend Sandra Hicks, Blackduck Kennels. These 2 dogs were my starting point into the " Wonderful World Of Cardigan Welsh Corgis". Thanks to Sandra's guidance and vast knowledge of the breed, I have a very successful breeding program, that has produced many fine champions in a very short time.
The Goal at Conquest Kennels is to Breed Quality Dogs, that are of Sound Mind, Structurally Correct, Have Great Temperments and Can Do Any Task that is put before them with a Willingness to Please.
Conquest dogs come with an extensive written health guarantee. Health screening and genetic testing are done. Companions are sold on a spay/neuter contract with an AKC Limited Registration.
