In search for fresh bloodlines I turned to the USA and came in contact with Mrs Megen Spencer. This resulted in arrival of first Shadyview's Breaking Records and later her sire Shadyview's On the Mark. They both made a mark in the showring. 1998 was Salem's year as she became Dutch Champion with a record of finishing from just three shows while her dad Slater was consistently placed and ended the year with a win at the Amsterdam Winners Show. He also sired a lovely litter from which O'Ceallaigh's Xtra Bad Boy is trying to follow his paw-prints while O'Ceallaigh's X'Shadyview is doing well in USA with Megen. Together Salem and Slater became the Top Brace All Breeds in Holland that year.

The photo on the left shows Salem going R.BIS at the Irish Setter Club of Holland Club Match in 1998. 1999 also started well for our small kennel with Salem winning BOB and Group 3rd in Luxembourg becoming Luxembourg Champion en route. Her half-brother Boyke became Luxembourg Junior Champion at only 9 months old and was continously placed well in Junior classes throughout the year.

But 1999 was definitely Slater's year. Not to be outdone he had a super run at the autumn shows and became Dutch Champion in October.

Boyke's brother and sister won the Amsterdam Junior Winner 1999 titles at one of the most prestigeus shows in Europe. O'Ceallaigh's Xtra Class owned by Coby Hensen and O'Ceallaigh's Xtra Style owned by Ida Wolterbeek made me very proud.

In the summer of 1999 Salem produced an outstanding litter to Multi Ch Vicary's US Dollar. Puppies from this litter have been extremly succesful at shows with two bitches becoming champions at an early age. O'Ceallaigh's Young Star owned by Joke Kanters is Luxembourg and Dutch Champion, Europa Sieger 2001 and was Top Dog of Group VII in Holland. In June 2002 Young Star became World Champion and Winner in Amsterdam

O'Ceallaigh's Yo Macho Man owned by Andre Clerget in France is doing well in shows having won several CACIB's and also on the field. In 2002 Macho Man became French and European Champion in Paris. BIS, BISS O'Ceallaigh's Yo Look At Me owned by Jadran and Justinka Ljuba in Croatia is an All Breeds BIS winner and was also BIS at the Austrian Club Show for Setters and Pointers in June. He is also FT qualified, HD B and has produced his first litter.

Salem and her daughter Ph Gr Ch O'Ceallaigh's Year Price were shown at the World Show in Milan in June 2000 and did well. Salem won the champion class while Price became Vice World Junior Champion. Price joined her new owner Mr Samson Go in the Phillipines in October and has since been doing really well there becoming Phillipine Champion and Phillipine Grand Champion this spring. This makes her the first champion I have bred. She has also been placed regularly in the group and BIS lineup. I wish Mr Go continued success. Price produced her first litter around Christmas 2001.

At this moment we have 2 quality dogs from our second litter, O'Ceallaigh's Bandit and O'Ceallaigh's Billy the Kid. They are growing up spendidly.
