Comments: Helem, It was a lot of fun visiting your website. I voted for your site too. I know you'll win. It's easy to create a great website like this when you start with all those beautiful dogs you have, isn't it?

Comments: I love what your association is doing for animals. I visit your site almost daily to see and read about the adoptions and any updates. My husband and I are on your waiting list.
Comments: I knew you rescued yorkies, so I was surprised to see bassets too! I picked good company to be with!
Comments: Tonight I read your "must Read" pages and am still in tears. I have adopted from the shelter and still it sickens me to see people in this day still treating animals the way they do. Thanks for such profound truths on your site; I am glad I stopped to vis t. God Bless You All!
Comments: Our yorkies are our babies and we adore them. They are absolutely spoiled rotten and we wouldn't have it any other way. We would love to adopt one in need.
Comments: We had a yorkie about 5yrs ago After Joy passed away we didn't think we wanted to go through that again. Now we find ourselves think more and more on that line. An older dog would be find as there is no one else in our home. We have a fenced in backyar , but the dog would be in it very little. We want a dog to love and spoil. Sleep in our bed and go on trips with us. Hope we can find someone who wants us too
Comments: In February 1998, we bought our Sam from you. He has brought so much joy in our lives. Recently, I found one of his biological brothers in my neighborhood. Once we sell our house, we will be looking for a brother/sister for Sam. Sincerely, Amy Brinker
Comments: Thanks so much Helen for visiting my website. I really appreciate everything you did to help bring Pepper into our life. She is wonderful and we love her very much. Please keep in touch, and if you ever need me just let me know...I'll help out in any w y I can with any of the rescue bassets. Sincerely, Michelle

Bay Area, and so far we've made it to the Doo Dah Parade and Basset Spring Games in So. Calif (Abbie and Bogie are BHRSC alumnae). Thanks again for uch a treat -- loved the Canadian sled bassets. |

Comments: Really enjoyed your site. Just wondering what kind of food you feed your "Kids". We were having a lot of problems with Sophie's (basset) skin until we started her on Flint River Ranch. If you are not familiar with it you might want to take a look at ou web page. We live in High Point, NC. Thanks for you time.
Comments: I love my bassets, Arthur (8) and Maggie (7) whom I rescued while living in Seattle. I am hooked on the drool. I cried when I read Quincy's story. How can people be so cruel? I thank God for wonderful people like you.

Comments: I would like to be on the Yorkies Rescue List in Georgia. Would you please let me know how to do this? Thank you
Comments: I loved your web site. I am so sorry for your loss. Quincy was such a beautiful boy. I was so sad when I read his story and also your other rescue stories. Puppy mills are horrible and in our state, they are finding them and prosecuting the owner . You must be very caring people. God bless you for rescuing Gods little babies. We have rescued 2 cats and 2 dogs.
Comments: see e-mail message......Thanks, Irene
Comments: Enjoyed your homepage. I like the yard cut-outs. The stories about the abandoned dogs, puppy store pups, tied out dogs, were quite sad, but very good to read. My heart breaks when I see these things. My basset hound is Bailey, and he's the light of my life! I love him dearly and I think of him as my baby. Thanks.
Comments: Howdy from right around the corner? We're in Havelock, NC - I'll have to look on a map and see where you are in relation to us. Love your site and especially your photos. We'll peek in again another day.
Comments: Hi Helen: Just loved your page! Keep me posted on Quincy! Love Ernestine
Comments: I enjoyed visiting with your puppies. My oldest yorkie, Chelsea, is my best friend. She goes just about everywhere with me and sleeps with my husband and I. Chelsea sleeps laying down by side. I would like to help with the rescure program is possible. I live in Lumpkin, Ga., 35 miles below Columbus, and Ft. Benning. This is on the border with Alabama. I can't imagine anyone using dogs in a puppy mill and living with themselves. My babies are just like my 2 boys. Sally
Comments: Great job! Good to now someone else loves and cares about Basset Hound's welfare! Pamela Deutsch Vet.Asst. NW Louisiana Sugar Shack's Basset Hounds NW Louisiana Animal Adoption and Rescue
Comments: Saw your site address on the Basset-L list and thought I'd check it out. My husband, MacDuff and I just moved to North Carolina. I admire what you're doing to help rescue Bassets and visiting senior homes etc. You can see MacDuff on his site with his b ddy Max (my parents' dog).
Comments: Finally got around to visiting your web site. Very nice. Lots of good content and info. I will be adding it to my basset links page in the next day or so, when the hounds are not soooo demanding.

Comments: Your website is great. Very sad pictures of Quincy, but I know he will be ok now.
Comments: So sorry to see another case of abuse. Please give him all the love you can, he looks like he needs it. We live in Fauquier Co, Va. on 5 acres. We have 5 bassets, 1 of which got her championship last fall(my first time showing and also in BBE class). en were in her litter and have 3 champs. Not Bad!! When I see things like this, it makes me sick. I worked for a vet 2 years and saw it all of the time. The funny thing is that people don't realize how they treat animals. They seem to think they are stuff toy. Good Luck, donna
Comments: Hello Helen and Jim, Just decided to check your site out. Its very nice... Good Work. Betsy
