On January 27, 2003 Marilyn's Lady Aislinn (Yellow) whelped ten puppies -- five black (2 M, 3 F), four yellows (2 M, 2 F), and one chocolate (M). Aislinn was bred to Marilyn's Lord Magnum (Black)

This was Lady Aislinn's first litter and she did a wonderful job. Her puppies are very healthy with birth weights ranging from 11 oz to 17.5 oz (average Lab pups in larger litters range from 7 oz. to 12 oz) and she took to motherhood very easily. Here are a few pictures of Aislinn and pups taken just a few hours after whelping.
Aislinn continued to be a terrific mother, and the puppies grew like little weeds. Weights at 4.5 weeks ranged from 5 lbs to 7 lbs. Here are some pictures taken at 3 weeks of age.
The pups at 7 weeks (3-15-03) weigh between 14 1/2 pounds and 16 pounds. Of course, the males are outweighing the females.
