After Princess was spayed and when my daughter was leaving for veterinary school, I gave Princess to her officially for she was hers for all practical purposes. When she started her senior year in veterinary school, she decided to let Princess stay with us to enjoy the woods and the pond. She did, however, take Lady Guinevere, a dark chocolate female out of Lady Serena's first litter, with her to be a companion for her Akita.
