Alliejax Miniature Schnauzers began in Southern California in 1990 with the purchase of one female Salt and Pepper Miniature Schnauzer, Von Palmas Perfect Package AKA; Reebok. Jack having shown Irish Setters in the early 80s insisted on haveing a Show Quality Bitch.
Reebok was shown only one time, which resulted in a First Place Blue Ribbon. Jack insisted that Alliejax would be an owner handled endeavor but because of a family illness Reebok would never see the ring again. It was truly a shame because she loved the excitement and would have finished easily.
A few years later she was bred to CH Sole Baye's T.J. Esquire resulting in a beautiful litter of 5 pups, 4 males and 1 female. The Female entered the world several hours after the males and was a total surprise, which led to her name, Sole Baye's Solo Surprise! AKA; Solo. The decision to keep her was an easy one. All were worthy of the show ring, but one male stood out with his outgoing personality and beautiful coat and exceptional head. He was named, Sole Baye's Adidas Max, AKA; Addie. Both these pups became Champions, Solo placing in the top 50 while being Specialed. Owner Handled and conditioned of course!
Reebok was bred again 1 ½ yr. later, this time to CH Blythwood Carlena Wildfire. This breeding produced 5 pup's, 3 males and 2 females. One male was the most outstanding with an attitude to match the best of them! Great color, conformational as close to perfect as possible. He was named, Alliejax Carlena's Spitfire, AKA: Gunner. His litter sister became Alliejax Rock n Roll Baby, AKA; Slupie (from the song) . As with the first two, both finished their championship owner handled and conditioned. Slupie finished with a 5 point major at an AMSC specialty. Gunner was the Number One Owner Handled Dog in the MSCSC in 1998.
The next breeding was Solo to, CH Allaruths Charles V Sole Baye. This Breeding resulted in 6 pups, 4 males and 2 females. Because space was at a premium it was decided that only one of these pups would be kept, it was to be Alliejax Wild Diana. She is currently Co-own with Liz and Tom Baumann. She has finished her Championship and has gone over Specials in the ring to prove herself. She is the 23rd Champion for her sire. Her litter brother, Alliejax Phillip V Sole Baye went to live with the Baumanns and is now the number ONE Therapy dog in the "RUFF" Program (Really Unique Furry Friends) at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles. Although he was never shown, his presence in the Volunteer Services of the Hospital may equal the accomplishments of his Relatives. He has proven to be a very special dog with many talents.
The most recent breeding, Solo to Gunner, resulted in a beautiful Bitch. She is called, Alliejax One Blue Angel AKA; ONE! One has been in the ring only a few times and has always been in the ribbons with several Reserve placements.
Since the first breeding in 1993 Alliejax have had only 17 puppies, five of which have become champions, one that is just starting out and has been in the ribbons and placed Reserve at a National Specialty.
The limited breeding of Alliejax but consistent Showing has proven to be a worthwhile endeavor. It can be difficult for the novice, breeder/owner/handler, to finish a dog in the conformation ring but Alliejax and others like them have proven it can be done. You must be sincere and honest. You must possess the integrity and perseverance to work hard, to learn, to be willing to listen to those that have experience, to be willing to admit to mistakes, to always be reputable and most important to have a love for the dogs you choose to show and breed.
Alliejax currently breeds and Shows only Salt and Pepper Miniature Schnauzers.
They handle and condition their own dogs for the show ring and are always willing to help new members of their clubs to reach their own goals.
