"PRINCE" was not only my first horse, and my first purebred Arabian, he was my best friend, my confidant, and my favorite horse of all time. We were always together, riding trails, back roads, and a nearby dairy farm. One of my fondest memories is getting in a line at a drive thru store with all the cars to get our soda pop before returning home. When I could not be located, I was usually sitting in a corner of his stall asleep, with Prince standing over me, his muzzle resting on my head. Never was a horse more loved than he, and he returned that love daily. So many times I would give anything to hug him and bury my face in his mane just one more time. Just one more trail ride, one more glimpse of him running and swinging that head from side to side. My only comfort is knowing that he and I will meet again in a better place, and spend the rest of our time riding the clouds and racing the wind.
