Wendel made his debut at the Indianapolis Specialty going Reserve in an entry of 36 males - at the age of 6 months and 4 days! He earned his first Best of Breed at 8 months of age (pictured above) and his first major (BoW for 4 points) at 10 months. He won back to back majors from the BBEX class at 11 months of age, and finished with his 4th major (also from BBEx) two days after his first birthday. He was Best of Breed over a large entry the following day, (pictured below).

Wendel is from a fine litter which of four Champions, all pointed from the Puppy Class. We co-own Ch. Isabel, while Chs. Sarge and Fame are now working in performance.

Wendel lives in retirement with Mike Sawyer and Joanne Hartman, and is the sire of our young liver bitch Auburn as well as two nice young males in performance homes.
