I just read some of you home page, and do I know what you are talking about. I have bred dobies before and have some pic's of the litters and some of the pic's you have on here of Jade are right on the money. I remember all of that. I was shocked to see t at Jade's tail was not docked, I've never seen a dobie with a tail, my Lady does not have her ears done either, my Red Boy did have his done, I lost him back in Oct, 1999, he was only 8 1/2. Hi Jade, I really enjoyed your website, especially the pictures. A lot of dobes with natural ears and docked tails can be seen in Europe but not so many of the new generation of dobes with both natural ears and tails. I posted a link to my dobe's photo album. I think that you have a great dobie concept going. I have seen so much discrimination twords we dobermans as a breed. I can't tell you how many times my pet Jerusha and I have been at the park and a human pup wants to play with me; even after my pet says hat it is ok the human pups' dam pulls them away and tells them to leave the bad doggy that bites alone. I feel so mad when I hear those words. I'm not a bad doggy; as a matter of fact I am the aristocrat of the dog world. I only bite to protect my pet, a d that is only when necessary. I would much prefer a piece of training liver to the taste of human arm. YUK!!! O'well. Some humans will never learn not to judge a dog by the markings on its fur. We must have patience and trust that all mankind will one da come to the knowledge that we trully are the superior breed. My first Dobie was uncropped, when we got into breeding under the Farrenmore name we sold a couple of Pups uncropped and would always do so if requested before the litter was due for cropping. Tails are a little different as they are done at three days an no one has ever requested we not do them. I would never get out of Dobermans because of no cropping or docking laws.

Never seen a doberman without at least something trimmed - nice to see what they are supposed to look like! I have a 4 yr old male from a local rescue. Xander is the biggest goober, and also has natural ears (docked tail). My sister put some pics up at her web page (above). Good luck with your boy!

Like the simplicity of your web page. I have not seen a dobie with all its parts in tact. :) I like the long tail and really don't do ear crops any longer. Sort of remind me of a blk/tan coon hound a little. But I love em. Keep up the good work.!

Just starting to explore - will check back in as time permits - my oldest brother is designing a web site for my youngest brother - he may have some tips for you, or some books or sites that you might take a look at. He sends me tons of information, but I am so busy that I haven't had any time to get into it the way that I would like to, basically there is too much to explore out there, so that eats up all my time. The URL that I gave above is linked to my youngest brother Evan's Gunsmiths Shooters World which is near L.A. He not only does custom gunsmithing, but he also has a shooting range for newbies to take lessons at. One of these days I will make an effort to set up my own page - probably something that includes not only dobies but also science fiction and other stuff that I am interested in.
