This page is a brief showcase of what Mother nature has to offer us here in Thunder Bay Ontario. All the pictures were taken by my owners, who are pretty into photography. Unfortunately I couldn't find any nice winter shots (we have really long winters here.) I hope you enjoy these summer and fall ones. :) Nature scenery makes a good subject, don't you think?

Here's a shot looking over my field on a crisp winter morning

This is a picture taken at Sleeping Giant provincial park (just outside of Thunder Bay). It was a long hike to get to this lookout! (it's Lake Superior, by the way).

My owners and one of their friends hiking in the fall. Nice colours, eh?

Here we have a pretty shot of a small section of shore on Lake Superior.

Rock outcrops and small 'mountains' are very common here, on the Canadian shield.

Another picture showing the brilliant fall colours...sometimes when the sun hits them just right, the leaves look like jewels.

Recognize this? It's the same spot as in the title graphic, at a different time of year. It's one of my owners favourite look out spots.
