Taz and Hunter

Hi, this is Hunter the kitty, the one who did all the typing. On this page you will find pictures of me, and also of Taz and Sadie, our new dog.
Anyway, about me, I don't ever hunt, so my name isn't very accurate. But my people found me when I was stray and starving and lost so they figured I must be a Hunter to have survived. I'm glad to have a nice hearth to sleep on now instead of the wilderness, where food can be hard to find, and there's no one to receive petting from. I'm so happy to have a home now! I really like to sleep alot, or ride draped over my owner's shoulders. I'm a colour called blue in the cat kingdom, even though it looks pretty silvery :)
I better tell you a bit about the dogs, I guess. Taz is a part Husky, part German Shepherd, and part something else. She's a real brat and chases me around. She never hurts me but still, I don't like it. She has a oral fixation and always has to have something in her mouth. She's very energetic and playful. Sadie arrived fairly recently as company for Taz (and everyone else too!) She's about 6 months old and is half black lab, and we're not sure what the other part is, but she sure is a darling. Now....for some pictures:

This is me, Hunter....

and here I am taking in a winter morning

Hi, I'm Tazzie (or Taz, or Taz-Girl). I'm 9 months old in this picture. I'm so strong! Someday I hope to pull a dogsled. I'm also full of boundless energy. In this picture I had just finished pulling my owners up a mountain for a six hour hike. I have to admit, I like to chase Stormy. I think she likes it because she never gets mad, so I think we agree that its a game. I think its fun anyway :) I don't dare chase the Percherons for they are HUGE.

Here's Taz and Sadie. Sadie is a new dog that came to live here. She's half black lab. We adopter her from the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society.

Here's one of Sadie and Amanda. We don't let Sadie play with that little ball as it could get caught in her throat, but she just wanted to see what a squash ball was.

This is me in the kitchen, looking back at the camera with a kind of annoyed patience, while I pose again and again. But hey, I do love to be in pictures!

Here I am outside doing a little exploring on an autumn morning.

Whoa...look at me up high on a pile of cedar logs...I almost look like I could howl to the moon, don't I? (maybe even a little?)

This is Oliver, a cat that we used to have. We thought this was a nice picture of him.
