THE FLAT-COATS AT AUTOGRAPH KENNELS

We have been fortunate to share our home with six Flat-Coated Retrievers since 1980.

Ch. Butterblac's Morgan Le Fay, CDX, TD, WC, TT Am. CD, TD, WC (1980 - 1987)

"Morgan" was our first Flat-Coat and a wonderful introduction to the breed. She was an intelligent dog, absolutely wasted on a beginner trainer.

Can/Am Ch. Butterblac's Excalibur CDX, WC, TT Am. CD (1983-1995)

"Denver" was a remarkable dog in many ways. A Best in Show winning dog, he was top conformation Flat-Coat in Canada for a record five straight years. He was also top stud dog for Flat-Coats in the United States. He won or placed in the stud dog class at several Canadian and American Specialties. Most of all, he was a great buddy -- a dog ready to go with me and do anything I asked.

Ch. Butterblac's Autograph CD, WC Am. CD (1987-2000)

"Holly" is the foundation bitch for Autograph Kennels. She has twice won the brood bitch class at the Canadian Specialty, and placed in the same class at the U.S. Specialty in 1997. She is a Canadian group placer and earned her WC when she was 9.

Can/Am Ch. Butterblac's Masquerade Can/Am CD (1992-2000)

An elegant lady, "Raider" was Reserve Winner's Bitch at the 1997 U.S. Specialty.

Ch. Autograph Dreamtyne Affinity , CD WC (1993-2000)

Always happy and eager to go, "Wren" was particularly keen in the field. A sound Flat-Coat with great movement, she lacked only a major to finish her American championship.

"Chatter"

Can/Am Ch. Roughrider Autograph BarNunn CD, Can/Am TD (1998)

"Chatter" is a granddaughter of "Denver" and "Holly" and is a fine testament to their contribution to the breed. A sound, typey dog with an outgoing personality, she won Best Puppy in Group win her first weekend out showing. She completed her Canadian championship at 11 months of age by earning points at five of the seven shows she was entered in. She finished her American championship with three majors -- while she was six weeks in whelp! She passed both her Canadian (at 16 months!) and American TDs on the first try and earned her Canadian CD in one weekend.
