3-Apr-2002 - Brought Racoon video back online and fixed older video links. 26-May-2001 - I've added the Racoon/Possum overnight timelapse video. 15-Jan-2000 - Eventually, I'll be adding two new video formats. The plan is to convert each of these videos to RealMedia and Windows Streaming formats. These will load about ten times faster than the current videos. The original files will remain online as space permits. These videos are in AVI format. You must have a player such as Microsoft Media Player that supports AVI . The new, clearer videos were taken with the very nice 3Com HomeConnect PC Digital Camera. The blurry videos were taken with the Creative Labs Webcam3 camera. |

Racoon and Possum nightlife timelapse - 320x240- 54secs - 4fps - 1273KB This time lapse movie shows a Racoon and a Possum on my back porch. They drink from a water bowl and eat dry catfood. After editting, it compresses one overnight feeding session into 54 seconds. One frame was taken every 10 seconds. Playback is at 4 frames per second, so every one second of this movie is equal to 40 seconds of realtime. |
