Located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, H.E.A.R.T. Inc. is a no-kill rescue organization, where animals are never in danger of being put down unless it is for a medical condition that is causing constant pain to the animal, has no possible treatment, and no hope of recovery.
H.E.A.R.T. Inc. will provide love and care to those that we can, and help promote an awareness of these animal's needs by promoting policies for humane animal treatment to the public. |
This corporation has been organized for the purpose of animal welfare, to provide rescue and relief to animals in need, and promises to: 1. Obtain needed care for these animals, both physically and emotionally 2. Provide foster care for animals in abusive, neglectful or undesirable conditions 3. Help in the placement of animals that for any reason are no longer wanted |

Some animals cannot be placed due to problems caused by previous abuse or neglect. In such cases these animals will remain with H.E.A.R.T. Inc. to live out the remainder of their life being pampered, loved and cared for as a special part of our family. |

Other animals that come to the sanctuary are checked over, given medical attention when needed, and given a chance to settle into a new way of life...where they know they are safe, while a caring home is found for them. We believe that all animals deserve to have a happy and safe life. |

Because of donations from caring individuals like yourself, the animals here at the sanctuary are able to be given medical treatment, shots, medications, and any other special care they may need, including being spayed or neutered before they are available for adoption to a new home. Horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals have all found a safe place to live through H.E.A.R.T. Inc. |

Animals have always played an important part in family life over the course of time....not only as work animals but also as faithful companions. It is now our turn to care for the animals. |

It is a very unfortunate reality that in today's fast paced world, so many animals are left to fall between the cracks in our society because people no longer have the time or money to care for them. These are very loving and wonderful animals, which do not deserve to be mistreated, abandoned, or not cared for. They have done nothing wrong to deserve such treatment and only ask for a chance for a happy life. In return they will give their hearts and love. They also help out the community in their own way by: performing a community service when visiting children or elderly at hospitals or nursing homes, or even by providing a place for under privileged or misguided youths to spend time. |

H.E.A.R.T. Inc. has set up a spay and neuter program in our area to try and help provide financial assistance to families who cannot afford the cost of spaying or neutering. This is an important part of owning an animal. Countless animals have to be put down every year because of unwanted and unplanned litters being born. |

The animals here at the sanctuary also help out the community in their own ways by performing community service by visiting elderly people at nursing homes, sick children, and providing a place for under privileged and misguided youths to work with the animals.
