The Many colors of a Flowered Shar-Pei.
What exactly is a flowered Pei? Well a flowered pei, is a Shar-Pei whose coat is not a solid color, as required for Conformation Competition according to the current AKC & CKC written Standard for the Chinese Shar-Pei breed. A Flowered Shar-Pei has a coat that is at least 50% white, with a ^ mark on the back of their heads. The base coat of a flowered pei is white and can be mixed with any color. The flowered Shar-Pei is really quite stiking in appearance.
The coat color is the only thing that is diffrent between the flowered and the solid.
Below you will find a small sample of the different colors of the flowered Shar-Pei. If you have a color that is not on my page and would like to add it please E-mail me.
