Kiss of a Rose

Great Dane's have been my main passion for over 20 yrs. starting with the purchase of a female merle back in 1970. Shady Lady as we called our girl taught us alot about Great Dane's in general. Lady also had Hip Dysplasia, so when the time came to replace her in our lives, we decided that we would search for a reputable breeder who had puppies from OFA'd parents. At the time showing was not an interest, and we purchased a dark brindle puppy we called Dawn. Dawn was such a joy, even more so than our Lady, we also became close to the breeders who introduced us to showing... Ken & Carol Dravenack. Within two months of purchasing Dawn, we purchased De De a full littermate to Dawn, and our first show quality dane, that the Dravenack's had held back for themselves. De De and Dawn were co-bred by Trudy & Mike Muller of Dagon fame. From there the rest is history, we became friends with Barbara Caprata of Caprata's Dane's, who was a great mentor along with, Pat Lawarence, who's son Jeff handled our first Dane's, and to Ray Cataldi and Faye Ringhand Kruger, who taught us so much and sold us the stunning Rojon's The Prophet. So now you have a compressed history of Dawn Dane's.
