Don't make anyone mad but post it every 7-10 days to remind folks to keep their eyes open. Contact shelters in the area (Chico, CA). THIS DOG CANNOT BE EUTHANIZED. It is imperative that he be found. In addition to his special skills as a search and rescue dog, he is deaf. He serves as an ambassador for both the SAR organizations out there, but for the deaf dog community as well. See a dog walking that looks like him? Go up and make contact. Thumper is friendly and has distinguishing marks. Talk to the people that have him. Compliment them but probe for info. If it sounds fishy, it probably is. Look into it if you can. Call your local sheriff's office. A flyer will be available on this site very soon. Print it out and post it all over the place.
