BVDTC Logo

 

The BVDTC sends a team of certified therapy dogs to visit local nursing homes and schools on a regular basis. Assistance in meeting therapy dog qualifications (TDI) is available for those interested in performing this community service. Our dogs also regularly demonstrate their obedience skills at events in support of local human agencies. Also, from time to time, we sponsor special training sessions or guest speakers to address issues of interest to dog owners.

The BVDTC Puppy Kindergarten (KTP) class offers four weeks of socialization for the newest members of our family.

BVDTC's Basic Training Class is a seven week course for beginners. After successful completion of this class, beginners are offered the opportunity to become a club members.

The BVDTC's Advanced Training Class is offered to club members two nights a week. Classes range from series CGC training (Advanced Class II) to just plan fun for dogs and their human companions alike!
