David Funderburg was born April 9, 1820 in Greene Co, OH the son of Daniel and Mary Elizabeth (Wilson) Funderburg.  Abt 1842 he married Hannah Goble.  Their children were Rachel Funderburg (born 1842 in OH), Sarah (born 1845 in IN), Thomas Goble Funderburg (born September 12, 1848 in IN), John Jefferson Funderburg (born June 23, 1851 in Delaware Co, IN), David William Funderburg (born January 5, 1859 in Jackson Co, IL), and Mary Martha Funderburg (born October 10, 1854 in Union, Delaware Co, IN.

David William Funderburg was born January 5, 1859 in Jackson Co, IL.  On November 6, 1880 he married Martha Ann MUSICK.  Their children were Mary Pearl Funderburg (born November 12, 1885 in Harrison Co, Mo), Samuel Ellis Funderburg (born September 19, 1893 in Harrison Co, MO, and
Fama Dilcy Funderburg (born December 16, 1920)

Samuel Ellis Funderburg was born September 19, 1893 in Harrison Co, Mo.  He married Bertha Mae Magee.  Their children are Velma Fern Funderburg, Dorothy Delores Funderburg, and Martha Maxine Funderburg
