Emotes for CheetChat™

For all of the following emotes, start CheetaChat™ and click settings, edit emotions, and create a new emotion with a name of your choice, then paste the following code into the emote as specified.

To select all the text in the relevant box, click the Gray Button, ensure that the text has turned blue (or whatever color you have set for "selected") then press Ctrl + C. If you cannot get the button to work (it requires JavaScript 1.1 support), left click at the end of the text and drag to the beginning, then right click and select Copy This will copy the text to the clipboard. Switch back to Cheetachat™ , and in the relevant section click, then right click and select Paste... this will insert the text into the emote. When both emote @ Self Response and emote @ Other Response are filled in, click Save Changes, then click OK.

Of course you can always experiment with your own characters... but be aware of the fact that if people do not have the font installed on their computer, they will not be able to see the characters. The WebDings font is installed with CheetaChat™, so there should be no problem using this font, but WingDings is not always installed....just be aware of this fact.

If this causes a problem, Microsoft have the fonts available for download here. The fonts you will need for these emotes are WebDings and WingDings. The fonts are distributed as self extracting .exe files, so either download to desktop, or choose open file from current location, and the self extractor will install the fonts on your system. (in theory, lol, but it worked for me)

Due to the nature of this page, which makes it graphics and HTML intensive (it's extremely long winded to get a web browser to display the codes for these emotes..lol), I have had to limit the size of each page, therefore, the main index page now only contains links to the pages with emotes... each one will contain around 6 emotes, and a link back to this page and a link to the homepage. For those who have bookmarked this page, the address remains the same.. www.chipmunk.cwc.net/emotes/index.htm
