2008 National Palomino Show

Preliminary information for the 2008 National Palomino Show

Date:  Saturday April 19th, 2008

Place:  Hutchinson, KS

Judge:  Don Mersiovsky, TX

To be held in conjunction with 2 All Breed shows and National Shows for: 

Californians ~ Florida White ~ Standard Chinchilla.

The National Pal show will be a pre-entry show.  Must be post marked by April 4th, 2008  Entry fees to be announced at a later date.

This week is the perfect time to breed for Jrs. for this show.

Also, now would be a good time to make hotel reservations.  With the large number of Californian and Florida White Breeders planning on attending this show, it is better to have a reservation now than not have one later.  The Hotel that we used last year was the Microtel Inn & Suites. 1420 N.Lorraine, Hutchinson, KS  67501, (620) - 665-3700.

Other breeds and info.

Other natl. shows.  Himalayan and Dwarf Hotot.

Other info....only one all breed show and it will be on Sunday.  Only the Natl. shows will be showing on Sat.  All breed judges include:  Tex and Tonna Thomas, Fibber, Stan Pulliam, Randy Dickerson and Conall Addison.  Others to be named later as needed. All breed show will be day of show entry.  $2.50 per entry and $1 per fur.

Friday night, the Cal club is hosting a hog roast.  Price will be about $10 per person, includes all the fixings.  Everyone is invited, but will need to phone, email ahead to give them a head count.

Saturday night, they have invited us to be part of the group banquet for the Californians, Florida's, Chin's and Dwarf Hotots.  Banquet will be catered and on the fairground in the banquet facility there.  This also will be a pre-register type deal.  Preliminary estimate of cost will be $12 to $15.  Will include 2 meats, drink and all the rest.
